KENDO MEMBERSHIP

Membership and education by Gakuchoukan Kendo Dojo is a privilege and not a right. The applicant must express motivation and have a behavior there contributes to a positive atmosphere. We invest much energy and time in our student’s practice and education thus it is expected that the applicant has a long-range plan with learning Kendo through regular practice. We are interested in upright people who with selfless mentality wish to be a part of our group where education take place under the assumption described under 'Kendo'. Twenty-one years old is the minimum age requirement for admission.

Under normal conditions Gakuchoukan opens for admission  of adults once a year - in September. The applicant has to contact Kaichô in order to make arrangement for shotaimen 初対面. After this interview you may be invited to study Kendo at Gakuchoukan Kendo Dojo.
